Happy Fourth of July

On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress approved of the Declaration of Independence, laying the foundation for the emergence of the greatest nation in the world. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, an estimated 2.5 million lived in the newly-formed country of 13 states at the time.

Now, the United  States has grown to a whopping 311.7 million, the Census Bureau reports.
